The 2017 Civil Service Exam (CSE-PPT)
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) officially announced the conduct of Civil Service Exam – Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) on September 9, 2019. CSC has started accepting application starting Monday, 16 December 2019 and ends on 15 January 2020 (deadline of filing).
The March 15, 2020 nationwide conduct of Career Service Examination is for both Professional and Sub-Professional Levels.
The CSE-PPT is open to Filipino citizens who are at least 18 years old at the time of filing of application. While applicants may continuously take the examinations regardless of the number of times failed, the CSC stressed that the same level of examination should be taken once in every three months.
Applications must be filed personally at the CSC Regional Office (CSCRO), or at any of the CSCRO’s Field Offices, where applicants intend to take the examination.
The CSC reminds that while the application period ends on January 15, acceptance of application is on a first-come, first-served basis, hence it may close earlier than the deadline if the CSCRO or FO has already reached the target number of applicants.
According to CSC, there will be at least 57 testing centers nationwide for the March 15, 2020 Civil Service Exam (CSE-PPT).
The second (2nd) holding of the Career Service Examination (CSE) Pen and Paper Test (Professional and Subprofessional Levels) will be on 9 August 2020, with application period from 11 May to 10 June 2020.
